Led by the American Chemistry Council and Plastics Industry Association, Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) is a global voluntary programme designed to support chemical companies across the plastics value chain in the drive to achieve zero pellet, flake and powder loss in their operations.
SCIC took the lead as the role of programme administrator to drive the implementation of OCS for Singapore in April 2019.
To enhance greater awareness of OCS among our members, SCIC organised the first sharing session on 23rd Aug 2019 with the objectives of providing participants with an overview on how companies can come on board as an OCS signatory to prevent the leakage of plastic pellets, flask and powder into the environment.
