Driving maritime digitalisation with bunkering standards - Seminar on SS 709:2024 and SS 648:2024

The Technical Committee for Bunkering (Ambient Liquid Fuels) continuously develops national standards to support Singapore as a trusted bunkering hub. In this digital age, operational efficiency and quality service are key success factors. Bunkering standards play an important role in driving the maritime industry’s fuel transition and digitalisation, locally and globally.

This seminar focuses on new Singapore Standard, SS 709:2024 (Specification for digital bunkering supply chain documentation) and the revised Singapore Standard, SS 648:2024 (Code of practice for bunker mass flow metering) which aim to provide the industry with greater transparency and boost productivity.

Highlights of these standards will be presented by the experts of the working groups who were involved in the standards development.
