SCIC actively supports the sponsorship of school scholarships and book prizes to students majoring in Chemical Engineering and other Engineering related courses.
In October 2019, three students who have exceled in their course of study in Chemical Engineering were presented with the following SCIC Scholarship and Book Prizes by the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT):
- Singapore Chemical Industry Council Financial Scholarship
- Singapore Chemical Industry Council Book Prize in Process Safety
- Singapore Chemical Industry Council Book Prize in Bachelor Thesis
SCIC congratulates the recipients of the SCIC 2019 Scholarship and Book Prizes and looks forward to having them to join the chemical industry’s workforce.
