As we continue in our efforts to support the capability building of the industry, SCIC organised the SCIC Safety Case Practitioner Workshop over four days via a virtual platform from 4 to 5 August and 11 to 12 August 2020.
With 32 participants in attendance, the programme was optimised to ensure that participants would be able to maximise their takeaways throughout the course of the virtual workshop. This included breakout sessions where participants discussed and brainstormed on the various case studies to complete their given tasks through the effective virtual group discussions.
Trainers’ perspective on the workshop
The virtual workshop was delivered seamlessly and facilitated interactions between the participants and trainers via the messaging function. The virtual breakout segments provided participants’ the opportunity to interact among themselves to enhance and embed learning and apply learned concepts. With the session conducted virtually, participants are able to work comfortably from home which presents as an ideal format to deliver technical safety training and this corroborated with participants’ feedback on the high standard of interactions and assignments completed.
