In Singapore, SCIC plays a pivotal role in advocating and stewarding the chemical industry through its commitment to responsible care and sustainable development. This year marks the 30th year anniversary since Responsible Care was adopted by SCIC in 1990 and the SCIC Responsible Care Committee has been actively propelling the Responsible Care initiatives with the industry players. Responsible Care is the global chemical industry's unique initiative to drive occupational health and environmental performance, enhance safety in operations and products, and strengthen communication with respective stakeholders.
