The Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC) is pleased to present the SCIC Appreciation Award to the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), with special recognition to Dr. Goh Mong Song and his team, in appreciation of their outstanding partnership, support and collaboration, and in anticipation of even greater achievements ahead.
In 2022, the Centre of Excellence for Productivity Improvement (COE), SCIC, and ASPRI embarked on the Workplace Training Centre (WTC) scheme to build a competent and productive workforce for the Process Construction and Maintenance (PCM) sector through skill refreshment, deep-skilling, and multi-skilling.
The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) emerged as a natural and valued partner, leveraging its strong technical expertise and global vocational network.
The programme has achieved resounding success, made possible by ITE’s mobilisation of high-calibre resources, unwavering commitment and strong focus in meeting ambitious timelines.
