As a highly anticipated initiative, the Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC) and the Association of Process Industry (ASPRI) have formed a Joint Stakeholders Committee to address concerns on migrant workers’ transportation and safety. This committee is jointly led by SCIC Co-chair, Mr Ching Wai Shun from Shell and ASPRI Co-chair, Mr James Goh from FRP Products Co Pte Ltd.

Enhancing the overall welfare of the migrant workers supporting the Energy & Chemical sector remains one of the industry’s key social responsibilities. By taking a coordinated position, this committee aims to look into the current practices, challenges, and propose practical solutions to develop an industry aligned roadmap enabling safe transportation of our migrant workers.
