Led by the SCIC MHI Committee, another sharing forum focused on “Safety Case – Safety Critical Task Analysis" was organised via a webinar session on 30 July.

The forum was well attended by more than 80 practitioners who took away informative knowledge from the insightful sharing by fellow industry peers on the following topics:

• Importance of conducting Safety Critical Task Analysis (SCTA) including the regulatory expectation on SCTA in Safety            Case Regime and steps in SCTA
(Presented by Mr Sundar Rajaraman, ExxonMobil)

• Tool to conduct human error analysis
(Presented by Mr Amit Bhatnagar, Singapore Refining Company)

• Challenges in conducting SCTA
(Presented by Er Gloria Wang, Shell Eastern Petroleum)

SCIC would like to thank the MHI committee in leading and facilitating the Safety Case knowledge sharing in the forum.

Members may keep a lookout for the MHI bulletin and sharing forum on other Safety Case topics that will be shared in the coming months.

About SCIC MHI Practitioners' Forum

The SCIC MHI Practitioners' Forum was first initiated in 2019 with the objective of an industry platform provision that allows MHIs to come together to learn from one another.

We strongly encourage the non-confidential sharing of knowledge and good practices as well as exchange of experiences and information among the MHI community as we believe this would be invaluable and beneficial to support all of us in our progress of the Safety Case implementation.
