To support the successful implementation of Safety Case by MHIs, SCIC will be organising a series of MHI Practitioners’ Forum.
The objective is to provide an industry platform for MHIs to come together to learn from one another through sharing of knowledge and good practices as well as an exchange of experiences and information in their implementation of the Safety Case regime.
Led by the SCIC MHI Committee, the discussions at first session held on 14 Oct 2019 focused on:
- Identifying Effective Barriers
Facilitated by MHI Committee Team of Ms Gloria Wang (Shell) and Mr Evert Klein (ExxonMobil)
- Make Intervention Plan Work For You
Facilitated by MHI Committee Team of Mr Amit Bhatnagar (SRC) and Mr David Kan (Infineum)
The session also provided an opportunity for MHD to share their observations on the initial Safety Cases submitted which were informative insights for the participants
Participants who attended benefitted from the sharing by fellow industry colleagues by gaining a deeper understanding on the Safety Case elements. We strongly believe such MHI sharing forum will enourage effective learning among the MHI community.
