Token of appreciation presented to the PC members at the Productivity Improvement Forum 2018

Formed in 2015, the Productivity Council is an industry-driven programme to boost productivity performances within the PCM sector supporting the Energy & Chemicals (E&C) industry. It is jointly funded by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC), Association of Process Industry (ASPRI), members of the Chemical and PCM Industries.

The Productivity Council is pleased to launch the inaugural training series for the PCM sector as part of the capacity building efforts to continuously improve on productivity.

The training series have been developed to focus on the following productivity measurement matrices:

  • Activity Analysis (AA)
  • Best Productivity Practices Implementation Index (BPPII)
  • Workface Planning (WFP)

These are the measurement matrices that have been identified during the research and pilot studies conducted during the first project phase by the Productivity Council. These tools will allow the PCM partners to gather productivity measurement data accurately, analyse and use the data to impart productivity improvements.

Please refer to the following chart for more information on the training series.

As the first of its kind industry-driven programme geared at improving productivity performance in the E&C industry, we would like to invite SCIC members to participate in this unique programme alongside key industry players and government agencies.
