With the development of this new Singapore Standard which covers the assessment and characterisation of graphene flakes, local manufacturers and graphene users can be assured that the graphene produced or used is of the right characteristics. This will ensure the consistency of graphene characteristics which helps in quality assurance thus building confidence in the graphene industry. This is the first such national standard and will help Singapore’s enterprises in its production of graphene as well as the research and innovation efforts in graphene flakes both locally and overseas.
