Community resources for cleaning up our beaches

||||
||||

We are excited to share about a community resource that can support members in their beach clean-up activities.

The CleanPod is an initiative by the Public Hygiene Council (PHC), National Environment Agency, that provides community resources including tongs, buckets and garden carts for clean-up activities at the various beaches and parks across Singapore. This allows the sharing of common cleaning tools and helps to promote a more sustainable avenue in conserving the use of resources when organising clean-up activities.

In line with our focus on environmental sustainability, SCIC has supported the adoption of a CleanPod at East Coast Park, Area C4. On top of the resources provided by the PHC, you will find additional items such as tongs and garbage bags contributed by SCIC which members can utilise for their clean-up activities.

For members who are keen to make use of our adopted CleanPod, simply register your clean-up activity at East Coast Park either at or around Area C4 and the PHC will provide you with the necessary information to access our CleanPod.
