The board and secretariat office of SCIC would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr Goh Koon Eng of Chevron Oronite Pte Ltd for his contributions towards SCIC.
In the earlier years, Koon Eng was one of the key members of SCIC’s pioneer Board in steering SCIC towards becoming an independent entity. When he returned to the Board in 2016 from his overseas assignment, he continued to support and contribute in the various activities of SCIC during his tenure as a Director of the Board and Vice Chairman till 2019. He assumed the role of Director for Finance, led the Jurong Island Infrastructure and for Advance Manufacturing Committees as well as participated in the CHIMAC Committee and represented in the Tripartite Taskforce which jointly developed the Tripartite Guide on Fitness to Work for Process Operations Shift Personnel. He was also involved in the Productivity Council in driving and supporting productivity improvement initiatives for the PCM sector. In mid-2018, he took on the role as Vice-Chairman and continued to steer and support the SCIC Secretariat office.
