An initiative by Dow and Sport Singapore, the project ‘Others see an old shoe. We see the future’ aims to recycle 300,000 pairs of used sports shoes and divert them away from the landfill over the next three years.
The first of its kind in Asia Pacific, this pioneering partnership paves the way towards catalysing circular economy solutions in Singapore through the transformation of shoes contributed by members of the community into jogging tracks, fitness corners and playgrounds.
Rallying the support of the chemical industry, we would like to encourage members to drop off used sports shoes at any of the 30 collection points including participating ActiveSG sport centres & stadiums, Decathlon stores, JD Sports stores all over Singapore from 26 Sept to 30 Nov 2020.
