TRAINING COURSE ON ACTIVITY ANALYSIS LEVEL- 3 (ADVANCED)

BACKGROUND

The Productivity Council (PC), adopted the Activity Analysis (AA) methodology for site direct work measurement and productivity improvement from CII (Construction Industry Institute) based at the University of Texas at Austin during phase-1 (2015-2018). Though the methodology (AA) has been adopted by some of the companies in Singapore, there are still gaps to be filled in order to achieve successful adoption. Hence by considering all the limitations, the PC has restructured the AA training course into three levels for successful implementation of AA in Singapore sites and AA Level-3 would be the third step towards achieving that goal.

OBJECTIVES

The AA Level-3 training is to equip the PCM (Process Construction and Maintenance) industry personnel with the practical knowledge on Activity Analysis. In addition, the participants will be able to:

•    Export the data and prepare for data analysis
•    Correlate the data with the key findings onsite
•    Identify strategies to be implemented for improvement
•    Introduce the best practices identified from the pilot studies.
•    Execute report preparation and data submission for certification.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Personnel from the PCM industry including supervisors, foremen, and site productivity surveyors and observers.
