Breakfast talk: “Bunker mass flow metering – More than plug-and-play”

Mass flow metering (MFM) is not a “Plug & Play” solution to bunkering operation. The breakfast talk sessions will provide participants with the key principles and framework of bunker MFM, highlighting the importance of metrology and system integrity requirements. The MFM system enhances transparency and improves operational efficiency of bunker tankers. The sessions also bring the participants through Singapore’s journey on the key success of mass flow metering in the bunkering industry by putting in place the operational procedures to ensure proper meter selection, installation, calibration and validation in order to achieve accurate measurement.Participants will also have the opportunity to network with key experts championing the development of national and international standards on bunker mass flow metering.
