SCIC Sharing Forum -- Gearing up Industry 4.0

Background
As the Energy & Chemicals Industry Transformation Map (ITM) launched in 2017, it paved the way for Industry 4.0 evolution which compasses the next wave of innovative advanced manufacturing technologies, digitalization and Industrial Internet of Things (IIOTs) for Singapore.
 
In Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) 2018, SCIC has put together the relevant topics to share with the industry on the introductory on the adoption of Industry 4.0 processes, technologies and solutions relevant for the chemical industry.
 
Through the positive feedback received from last year, SCIC will be continuing the effort as part of the building capacity in organising the sharing forum in conjunction with this year ITAP www.industrial-transformation.com. For this year program, there will be more industry sharing from the various sector within the chemical industry on their transformation journey as well as from the government agencies.
 
There will be a special customised exhibition tour at the ITAP that has been arranged for members. The 2-hour tour is to provide an introductory on the adoption of Industry 4.0 processes, technologies and solutions relevant for the chemical industry that can help businesses start, scale and sustain individual transformative efforts.
 
Objective
The forum aims to provide a platform:
• To raise awareness among industry members on current advance manufacturing technology for Energy and Chemical Sector
• To share the transformation journey and learning from one another in the adoption of Industry 4.0
