INDUSTRIAL GAS SAFETY SEMINAR 2023

IGAS (Industrial Gas Association of Singapore) presents its next safety seminar that focuses on industrial gas safe operation and its best practices with regard to handling and storage of gas cylinders.

Industrial gases have a wide portfolio in various industries. It is used in a wide array of industries and at various stages of production or analysis requirements.

Industrial gases are known for its hazardous properties. Besides presenting its flammable hazards, there are other lesser-known hazards that may not be well understood to its wide base users.  Hence there are safety issues that needs to be addressed. IGAS, aims to achieve this in the following themes of the safety seminar:

  • Review and introduction of the basics, key safety principles, hazards and safeguards
  • Sharing of best practices and lessons from incidents and near misses
  • Professional approach to safety issues
  • Review of applicable standards and key AIGA Documents

The seminar sessions will cover industrial gases and specialty gases such as Hydrogen, Medical and Oxygen Safety.
