Seminar on SS 685 Specification for water-based primer for metal and wood and SS 686 Specification for water-based enamel paint

This seminar will showcase two new Singapore standards SS 685:2022 Specification for water-based primer for metal and wood and SS 686: 2022 Specification for water-based enamel paint.

In line with global sustainability trends, these specifications set the performance benchmark for eco-friendly and safe paints, that has reduced volatile organic compound (VOC), heavy metals and hazardous substances. Applications of these greener alternative paints, will improve users’ and occupants’ comfort and well-being, through the enhancement of indoor environment quality as per the Building and Construction Authority’s green building masterplan.

Highlights of these new standards will be presented by the Working Group experts who had developed them.

Users of paint standards which may include paint manufacturer, test laboratories, suppliers, architects, managing agents and contractors.
