TRAINING COURSE ON BEST PRODUCTIVITY PRACTICES IMPLEMENTATION INDEX LEVEL- 1 (BEGINNER)

BACKGROUND

The Productivity Council (PC), adopted the Best Practices Productivity Implementation Index (BPPII) Methodology for assessing, monitoring and improving the system level productivity measurement on-site. The methodology was adopted from CII (Construction Industry Institute) based at the University of Texas at Austin during Phase 1 (2015-2018). Though the methodology (BPPII) has been adopted by some of the companies in Singapore, there are still gaps to be filled in order to achieve successful adoption. Hence by considering all the limitations, the PC has restructured the BPPII training curriculum into two Levels for successful implementation of BPPII in Singapore.

OBJECTIVES

The BPPII Level-1 training is to equip the PCM (Process Construction and Maintenance) industry personnel with the basic and theoretical knowledge about BPPII and drive productivity improvement initiatives by conducting BPPII in their respective projects. This interactive training/workshop is aimed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to understand the concept of BPPII.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Personnel from the PCM industry including site engineers, supervisors, planners, and site productivity surveyors and observers.
