As you might be aware, as part of the “Clear Shores, Clean Waters” campaign, we have held two beach clean-up events earlier in the year. On 31st May, we had our second beach clean-up event in conjunction with the World Environment Day and you can read about it here.
We are now pleased to share with you that we will be holding our culminating beach clean-up event of the year on 20th Sept (Friday), in conjunction with the International Coastal Clean-up Day.
As we recognise that keeping our shores and waters free of waste cannot be undertaken alone, we will also be inviting extended stakeholders such as government agencies, students, grassroots leaders and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to join us at the International Coastal Clean-up Event, making this our largest beach clean-up event of the year.
Details of the International Coastal Clean-up Event as follows:
Date: 20 Sept 2019, Friday
Time: 8 – 11am
Location(s): East Coast Park & Changi Beach
*Please note that SCIC will allocate the assignment of companies to the beaches
**Further details will be advised shortly
We would like to invite member companies to send up to 30 participants and join us to showcase our commitment as an industry towards environmental protection.
As places are limited, please register with
