Launch of new SS 634 : 2018 Fire Safety on Open Plant Processing Facilities in Oil, Chemical and Process Industries

 

A new standard SS634:2018 Fire Safety for Open Plant Processing Facilities in Oil, Chemical and Process Industries is being launch. Of particular interest to the industry, the layout and spacing of open plant processing facilities which has been simplified compared to the previous guidelines “Fire Safety Guidelines for Open Plant Structures in Oil, Chemical and Process Industries”. Highlights of this new standard will be presented by Working Group experts who developed the standard, which will be used as a conformance reference for fire safety in the Singapore Fire Code.
