Chemical Standards Exchange – “Conservation of our environment”

The Chemical Standards Exchange is an annual flagship seminar organised by the Chemical Standards Committee to highlight the importance of Singapore Standards in promoting health, safety, environment, productivity and sustainability in the chemical industry.

As the theme for 2021 focuses on the conservation of our environment, attendees will gain insights to the National Green plan and its relevance to our chemical industry.

With the intention to reduce the urban island heat effect and the national need to shift towards more environmentally friendly alternatives, the benefits of new and upcoming standards to achieve these goals will be shared.  Understand the importance of dispersions in mitigating oil spills to allow the continuity of marine and gain insights on how to manage hazardous waste responsibly.
